The Life Pinnarca project led by the Institute for Research in Environment and Marine Science (IMEDMAR-UCV) and which aims to preserve the Mediterranean fan mussel (Pinna nobilis), has convened a design contest to create a mascot that helps raise awareness about the importance of saving this bivalve mollusc in critical danger of extinction. The winning image will be the official logotipe of the project.
