UA researchers take action in an european project to help save the fan shell from its extinction

The Department of Marine Sciences and Applied Biology and the CIMAR (Marine Research Center of Santa Pola), together with the Acuario de la Universidad de Murcia, seek through the LIFE PINNARCA project the recuperation of the population of Pinna nobilis in the Mar Menor, one of the last two populations of the Spanish coast.
